Jesus and the Donkey Colt

Jesus rode a colt into Jerusalem, which is a young male from a donkey. Or was it a colt AND the donkey? Colt: A colt is a young male donkey which is   less than four years of age . Filly: A filly is a young female donkey which is less than four years of age. Foal: A foal is a baby male or female donkey up to one year old. The general consensus is that donkeys and mules*, including colts, should carry no more than 20-25% of their body weight.   Some sources suggest a slightly higher range of 25-33% for donkeys due to their strong bone and muscle structure.   The weight of donkeys ranges   up to 570 pounds .
