Son..
Hebrews 1:1 After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets,
2 in these last days he has spoken to us in a son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world.
Let's say that God has a mouth. When He speaks, something comes out. In one sense, God calls that His "Son". A son comes out of a father via his womb, or wife.
These 'words'/'Son' then turned into things.. God Creating.
Once humans were on earth, God used their senses to communicate with them. That Word/Son God would speak out off the mouth a human that God gave the office of prophet to.
Then came Yeshua/Jesus. He would be the key human that would be the mouthpiece of God to humans. After all, God was fully in Him. He is heir of all things or the King of humans.
Never get impressed by human mammals. That's just the mammal we all live inside. Here today, gone tomorrow. It's lives, it dies. Trees live, they die. Fish live, they die. Dandelions live, they die. On and on forever.. wait, not forever.
Once the "Word" became "flesh", the next possibility occurred .. The glorified human that never ages again.
Jesus had Elohim in Him. The mammal then died. That crescendo made it clear He was a human mammal that died. DOA. This was important cause God knew idol worshipping humans would eventually question Jesus' existence, or He was really an angel, etc..
So Jesus died.
God is Spirit, so the image of God is Spirit. It has been said that God first made Spirit humans, then by Genesis 2 had made flesh humans that the spirit was in. Since the word 'spirit' means breath, then spirit humans could be that 'word' that came out of God's 'mouth' for each of them. That gets complicated to think about in our small brains.
The point is that the image of God has to be Spirit. Mammals are just what they are inside of on earth.
The oneness of the Godhead is very important. Whatever God is, He only presents Himself as Spirit.
GodSpirit might get in a cloud, or a lick of fire, but for humans, His goal was in the mammal Jesus, fully.. and then in a multitude of mammals he calls a body, or children, or manifestations of His Kingdom that He is making specifically for glorified humans. That's the only kingdom we currently know about, other than the initial showdown in 'Heaven'..
So Jesus being the heir of all things earth/human simply means He will be the King of the Kingdom that we are told about.
Our brains can't grasp the weak explanations we give with our flawed languages.
This is why God at Pentecost then placed Himself in that certain group to start the process of being the "teacher within". God can talk invisibly to the spirit human and reveal to them the proper understanding .. and that understanding may not be able to put it on words. It's rigged. God teaches who He wants to.
We have to admit that we are totally dependent on God to REVEAL anything of Kingdom value to us. Try teaching a squirrel physics.. you get the point. Try to find a squirrel that can teach a squirrel physics.. you get the point. Become a squirrel with your human brain in there with you. You can only teach then according to the squirrels limitations.. unless.. you can drop a physics truth in them. Then you can watch as they try to share it with other squirrels in squirrel talk. That is how God rigged it.
Now the squirrels might somehow organize around what they heard, but quickly it becomes an denomination with dead letter creeds about physics.
Yes it is frustrating, but that is how God chose to do it. We are the squirrels.
God is like the flour that never runs out. He can disperse Himself into a many humans as He wants and never get smaller Himself.
Jesus is not God's ONLY son, but He is the Head of all the other Sons/Daughters that are the Body.
One God.. not three.. but many many more in an ordered Form. And He also invites whosoever will to join as guests, per se.
In the Bible, the "many many" are usually the weakest looking ones. And they truly do not fit'in in this world regardless how hard they might try.
God will have everyone in their proper place when it's all said and done.
Hebrews 2:5 "For he did not put the world to come, about which we are speaking, under the control of angels." Very interesting way of saying it.
7 "You made him lower than the angels for a little while. You crowned him with glory and honor. 8 You put all things under his control.”
He is the head, the king, the human that judges humans, the top homosapien mammal that is completed into glorified condition. Being "glorified" was not an addition, but it was always the Plan to complete the human creation into this Form.
This is what I believe.. comma,
