What is the SEAL of God?

This in one of those - plain talk is easily understood - question/answers.


Jhn 6:27 - "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him has God the Father SEALED.


Eph 4:30 - And grieve not the HOLY SPIRIT of God, whereby you are SEALED unto the day of redemption.


2Co 1:22 - Who hath also SEALED us, and given the earnest of the SPIRIT in our hearts.


Eph 1:13 - In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were SEALED with that HOLY SPIRIT of promise"


The SEAL is a Soul that has fully entered into God's Rest. A Soul rests because it is SEALED by GodSpirit. That specific Soul becomes the Sabbath, the Rest, in a completed form. 


God rested on the seventh day. He called that Rest, the Sabbath. In the Jewish Law, that is the fourth commandment. 


Jump forward :


You might say that Jesus was the walking talking full Sabbath in flesh. He was/is .. the Rest. 


Mat 11:28 - Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you REST. 

:29 - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find REST unto your souls."


Later:

Revelation 7 mentions SEALED and is definitely about the Jews:


Rev 7:3 - Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have SEALED the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Rev 7:4 - And I heard the number of them which were SEALED: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of ISRAEL."


This is when the elected predestinated Jews in Israel (12,000 from each of the 12 tribes) receive the same SPIRIT OF GOD that Paul spoke about when talking to us gentiles,

 which is the same Seal = the REST =

the Holy Spirit in a person's Soul.


These 144,000 of Revelation 7 are Jews in Israel that are then able to understand that Jesus is their Messiah, and then they receive the Spirit of God in them, which SEALS them.


The Jews were already keeping the Sabbath/theRest/4th Commandment..

but.. they were -not- Sealed. 

The Sabbath was not IN them. It was only in their head as Law.


The two are different.


The 4th Commandment is the 'Law Form' which represents what would fully manifest in 'Spiritual Form' with Jesus, and then in those people at the Day of Pentecost. 

The 4th Commandment is vital to understanding Jesus, Salvation, and the true New Birth. 1,2,3.


The 4th Commandment in 'Law Form' cannot be the Seal. It had to become in 'Spiritual Form' as Jesus first, then It becomes the Seal to Christians starting on the Day of Pentecost.

 The goal is always :

1. To recognize Jesus

2. To have God WITH you

3. To get God IN you = sealed = Christ in You the Hope of glory.


(Many are content with #2, which is very awesome itself. But the very dedicated will always seek for #3)


The fulness of GodSpirit was IN Jesus the man. They were ONE.


Jhn 10:30 - I and my Father are ONE.

Jhn 17:21 - That they all may be ONE; as you, Father, are IN me, and I in you, that they also may be ONE in us: that the world may believe that You have sent me."


He wanted them SEALED by the Spirit of God Himself. Christ in You, the hope of glory. 


Conclusion : The Spirit of God, or God Himself, is what SEALS a Soul. Once there, the person can never turn to the world again. That person and God have become ONE. 

The 4th Commandment blossomed when Jesus arrived.

Think about it, the Jews didn't kill Jesus. He just allowed Rome to kill him - but remember, only because he let them.  But after that, it was the Jews killing the ones that were called "Christians".  It was later that they were called Christians, a term which could put them in a box. The Bible is very clear that God made both good and that which is evil. God Himself is not evil, but he made the scenario - on purpose - that would let 'evil' manifest.
