Romans 1 What I Currently Understand

This may take awhile.. I'm just going to do a read through Romans 1 and see what sparks with me or what my mere brain thinks. ::

Romans 1:1
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

Small humble least little,/ a slave/ of Salvation/ Anoint Rub Smear Messiah,/ chosen/ to be/ messenger,/ separate banished/ to/ good news/ God diety.

It is interesting at God's wisdom to give Saul a Roman name that will be very useful later. Saul is a Hebrew name.  And secondly, the name speaks clearly of how God wants Paul to think about himself. Paul means small, humble, least, and little.

Paul realizes he is a servant, a name meaning slave.

The name Jesus, is actually Yeshua. It's meaning is God of Salvation. Thus, the word became flesh can mean the word became salvation. Out of God came salvation and we call that a son.

Christ is anoint.. a human body.. and rub, smear, and commonly said, Messiah.

Since Spirit God can't be anointed, God made a mammal homosapien that could be anointed. What was he anointed with? Spirit God, or the Father. The only one God entered into the mammal called Salvation.

Paul was definitely chosen to be an apostle or messenger. Messenger of what? He was to be separated or banished from his former life as Saul and as a slave must become a messenger of the Good News of the One God. What is the good news? It is leaving the ignorance of knowing nothing about God, (we're all born that way), to being introduced to the one Spirit God.  Paul went from a Father version of God, to a Messiah version of God, and then to a Christ in You version of God. That is the Good News or Gospel.

Romans 1:2
(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

Romans 1:3
Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

Concerning Spirit God's Salvation in Human Form with the Father in Him, which makes Him Lord. There is only one Lord. The one mentioned in the Hebrew Testament. Same one God, just in flesh.

Although Jesus was created in the womb of Mary by the one God Himself, He drew his nutrition etc from Mary's body. Mary and Joseph were from the line of David. The seed of David, or the children of David, brought us Joseph and Mary.

Romans 1:4
And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Basically it proved it was the one God when the body of Jesus rose from the dead.

Romans 1:5
By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Grace is just things God likes to do. Being a messenger is an act of obedience to the revelations given by God to Paul from the nation of Israel, in order to spread God's name or identity.

Romans 1:6
Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

And to anyone who has had the same experience as Peter spoke at Pentecost, they are also chosen or called to grasp that Jesus is literally the Salvation of God made flesh.

Romans 1:7
To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul, the small humble slave of God, is speaking to believers in Rome. They are loved by Elohim, the God of Israel, and are also chosen to be devoted to God, sacred, pure, holy, and paradoxically, accursed.

Grace, God's desire to do it, to each and peace or no longer fighting against the One God. God is the Father, the only one, Spirit that cannot be seen nor grasped. And the Lord Jesus Christ who is Salvation made flesh with the One God inside him.

Verses 8 through 15 confirm all the previous written, gratitude to those who helped him, as well as Paul's desire to see the Roman Believers in person.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Elohim in Yeshua. Because Yeshua means God of Salvation to everyone that truly believes. It started with the Jews and will also be revealed to Gentiles. There is only one God.

Romans 1:17
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For that is what is right. Elohim is revealed from revelation to revelation. The Hebrew Testament says "The just shall live by faith".
Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Paul saw that it is by God's Faith, given to individuals by revelation, is what makes us just. It is God that is just, and He simply imparts His Own Justness on us, if we so ask.

This is what Martin Luther had revealed to him. The revelation started the restoration of the Word of God back to It's Truth.  The politics around this Scripture brought down the political Catholic system from its lone grip on 'christianity'.  What Constantine started began to tumble in that the called and chosen began to hear from God themselves.

The first doctrine is that there is One God. He decides He wants to do something. God sets the scenario and decides on His Own to say "That person is just because I say so. I put my justness on that person. Done. It's fair because I say it's fair and just a reminder, I Am the only God."

Romans 1:18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

God says He could have just eliminated everyone like He did in Noah's day, but that wasn't His Plan. His Plan was to become a human so humans could believe He is One God. God basically poured His Own wrath on Himself.

Does God have wrath? First of all, we humans cannot grasp who or what God is. We cannot. We are just humans. Homo sapien mammals. So to even start to understand "wrath" from God's perspective is a futile endeavor.

God has two basics : you're in or you're out.  He will be with or in anyone who asks, seeks, desires, thirsts. In a raw interpretation of this : If you eat a meal, part of it is ordained to stay in the body and a majority is ordained to go down the toilet.

So we might say that God's wrath is just the discarding of what will not be a part of the pre-planned Kingdom.  Cut a tree, build with the wood, burn the scraps.

Romans 1:19
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

It is God that reveals things about Himself to individuals. No human can give another human a revelation. Humans can lay out the data, but it is God, and only God, that reveals that specific truth to the person.  God shows it unto them.

Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Ok. They talk different than we do in 2025. Once again, God is only understood in teeny weeny portions by God Himself revealing it to a person. Sometimes he'll use an exhibit, like in a court case, to display a specific thing. But God still has to reveal the actual Truth to a person.

Eternal power? Eternal has no beginning and no ending. Just like God. A human will short out their brain or psych if they try to understand no beginning.

The Godhead. Obviously this is key to God. He is the One God. He wants to show us that so He started by making a nation called Israel and using them to prove his Oneness. Grasp the God of Genesis 1:1, or the God of  Israel, and a person is then at the foundation cornerstone of everything God then wants them to know.  Get the foundation stone of One God messed up and the rest will turn goofy or just into useless religious'ness.

Once a person grasps there is only One God, just like the Jews see it, they are then accountable of what they will choose. Freewill kicks in right there.

Romans 1:21
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Once again, Once a person grasps there is only One God, just like the Jews see it, they are then accountable of what they will choose. Freewill kicks in right there.

Romans 1:22-23
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

We humans without revelation will always go to silly things. If a person says they understand the One God and then market him in a silly way, they are blind and their journey is in vain.

Romans 1:24-32
These verses are 2025 from cover to cover. It is sad that when a person hasn't met God yet, or met Him and chose to discard Him, how quickly they get entangled in endless yuck. We are ALL born this way : Not know God exists and having no clue what is yea or nay.  When the creation snubs their nose at God, He just turns them loose to their own messed up self loving minds and imaginations. It doesn't take long for a person to try to replace that spot in their heart made only for God, into something else. But ask any.. it never satisfies them. The fall in the pit never ends unless.. they cry out to God or someone's prayer has Him grab them in spite of themselves.

This is a quick run through and look at Romans 1. I may alter this over time. But on this specific day, this is my understanding of what I just read.

This is what I believe.. comma,
