What They Didn't Have at Pentecost

What DIDN'T the people at Pentecost in the upper room have.. when they received the Spirit of God IN them?

Pentecost had none of these. 

No church age messengers. That includes Martin Luther, John Wesley, bros Knox, Finney, Calvin, White, Smith, McAlister, Spurgeon, the three Billys .. Sunday Graham Branham, Ewart, Seymore, Allen, Roberts, Hus, and 100s more.

There was no catholic church.

There was no Paul.

So how in the world did they have the Spirit of God in them?  

I have to smile.  Pentecost is the Template. If what and who we believe, does not point us back to the Day of Pentecost, and what they believed.. then we have detoured from The Gospel, The Good News.

Think about it, the Jews didn't kill Jesus. He just allowed Rome to kill him - but remember, only because he let them.  But after that, it was the Jews killing the ones that were called "Christians".  It was later that they were called Christians, a term which could put them in a box. The Bible is very clear that God made both good and that which is evil. God Himself is not evil, but he made the scenario - on purpose - that would let 'evil' manifest.
