I Appreciate Sin
Short and sweet.
We are born in this world like all other mammals : self protective .. or shortened : self.
Jesus was clear that His Kingdom is not here. Thus, we are a bit clueless of how to become the kind of human that 'fits in' to that Kingdom. Obviously there are certain character traits we must have from our Soul.
"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence." John 18:36
The very common question of humanity is : "What is sin." and "Why do we sin?" and "Why is there sin."
Why is there sin? Why did God allow it?
The simplest answer is : Because without sin, we would not know what forgiveness is. Sin brings the gift called forgiveness. We learn that God forgives. We learn that people forgive. We learn that we forgive. We learn we have to forgive ourselves. None of this is possible without sin.
You might say that God could care less about sin. But the molded character trait called forgiveness is His focus and joy of imparting to those who will be in this mysterious Kingdom He is making.
Sin is like bootcamp, no fun. But the honor at graduation is the molded character of forgiveness.
God uses human sin to teach us a Part of His Own Character. We are clueless about who God is from birth, so it takes God to increase His Joy to teach us about Himself.
Whatever this trait called forgiveness truly is, it is a vital ingredient of who those humans are that God is preparing for His Kingdom.
I appreciate sin .. it's the seed that grows into the character of forgiveness.
This is what I believe.. comma,
