Why Blood ? Again

This bounces everywhere.. Blood still catches my mind.  Out of the blue it will suddenly appear again with the question, "Why Blood? Why not do all this without blood?" I'm going to post lots of random things here I will organize later.  First, What Is Blood? "Blood is a body fluid in the circulatory system of humans and other vertebrates that delivers necessary substances such as nutrients and oxygen to the cells, and transports metabolic waste products away from those same cells." In the Bible : GoogleAI "blood is mentioned in many passages, including those that discuss the importance of blood for atonement, the blood of Jesus Christ, and the punishment of murder.  Blood for atonement Leviticus 17:11: The blood of the flesh is the life of the flesh, and it atones for souls  Hebrews 9:22: Without shedding blood, there is no remission  Matthew 26:28: The blood of the covenant  Blood of Jesus Christ 1 John 5:6: Jesus Christ came by water and blood  Hebr...

Assemble Together?

This very often quoted verse in Hebrews got me pondering.. Heb 10:25 - " Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together , as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. " I try not to build a fast doctrine off one statement.  Usually because my thinking already has me biased before I start.  Especially in the USA where we go Hollywood with everything.  What we see is what we imitate.  Or we gage something as successful then imitate it with the influence of our culture guiding our thinking. Example : A new hairstyle appears in movie, TV, or media and it is quickly imitated and goes trendy. Churches have done this since Constantine made it hip.  Don't build a shed.. make it fancy. We'll come back to that.  Next : Matthew 22:36 "Master, which is the great commandment in the law?   37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with...

Did God Have a Plan B in the Garden of Eden?

Did God Have a Plan B in the Garden of Eden? I'll come back to this. Just wanted to get the thought in my brain written down.. Answer : No What happened in the Garden of Eden is exactly what God wanted to happen.  Oh my.. :) tbc..

"LORD'S Prayer." Prophetic?

We often hear the phrase, "The Lord's Prayer". One day I read that Jesus first said,  "Matthew 6:7  B ut when ye pray,  use not vain repetitions ,".  And just before that He said,  " Mat 6:6  -B ut thou, when thou prayest,  enter into thy closet , and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret;". I had grown up always hearing for everyone to say it together.  The whole group then obediently all said the "Lord's Prayer" in robotic harmony. That seems vain repetition'y and definitely not alone in "thy closet ". One day while saying it I thought.. wait a minute,  had this come to pass at Pentecost? Here are the two spots in the Bible that it is mentioned : "Luke 11:1 - And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught...

Peter the Slayer

Acts 10/11 Peter the Slayer "10:12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air." "13 A nd there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill , and eat." 11:7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat. 8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth." So to God, the gentiles were dogs, wild beasts, pigs, bugs, camels, rabbits, lizards, and flying fowls. Oh yeah, snakes. That's almost funny for people who think so highly of themselves.  These are all the "unclean" animals listed in the Torah by Moses. Probably other critters too. It is interesting how God types so many things after the animals He created. For Himself He uses lamb, lion, eagle (prophets).. ➡️ I have not found an animal yet that specifically represents Israel.  Eagle is interesting. Prophets are compared to eagles since they fly high and have that ...

What They Didn't Have at Pentecost

What DIDN'T the people at Pentecost in the upper room have.. when they received the Spirit of God IN them?  First.. "There are tens of thousands of Protestant denominations, and estimates vary. Some estimates suggest there are around 45,000 to 47,000 denominations."     GoogleAI Pentecost had none of these.  No church age messengers. That includes Martin Luther, John Wesley, bros Knox, Finney, Calvin, White, Smith, McAlister, Spurgeon, the three Billys .. Sunday Graham Branham, Ewart, Seymore, Allen, Roberts, Hus, and 100s more. There was no catholic church. There was no Paul. So how in the world did they have the Spirit of God in them?   I have to smile.  Pentecost is the Template. If what and who we believe, does not point us back to the Day of Pentecost, and what they believed.. then we have detoured from The Gospel, The Good News. tbc... Did Anyone Speak King James English

I hate our languages. It is so hard to explain anything because of our imperfect languages. Ever read the Bible and say "Amen" but not have a clue what you just read?  Yep. For example : Did ANYONE actually speak in King James English? "No, "King James English" as found in the King James Bible was not the way anyone actually spoke in everyday conversation during that time; it was a carefully crafted, standardized form of English used for the translation, not reflecting the diverse dialects and speech patterns of the general population at the time." GoogleAI So make it talk your language the best you can. It can be rough. No one has the VIP to be the authority. No, not even God's servant/slaves called Ministers. Rolling your r's or extending your ssss's does not make a person more spiritual. The BIBLE is made for everyone. Read it, talk about it, trip over it, pray over it. Important : IT IS GOD that gives revelation of His Word to a person.  .....

When Chapters of Bible Written : And Ponders

Here are the dates from Biblegateway for the first five 'books' of the New Testament : Gospels & Acts       Matthew: Written after 70 AD, preserving oral accounts from the previous generation      Mark: Written 64-70 AD, preserving oral accounts from the previous generation      Luke: Debated; could be written between 62-90 AD, preserving earlier oral accounts      John: Written 90-110 AD, preserving earlier oral accounts      Acts: Written 62-90 AD (by Luke)   A thought struck me of why were they written when they were. Then I looked in Paul's life. Paul's 13 main letter started around 50AD and stopped around 67AD. These dates are based on Jesus ascending around the year 33AD.  Therefore, there is room for a little this way or that way for the actual dates. The thought I had was to see when Paul died . According to the Bible, the Apostle P...

Not Adoptionism. Not Modalism. Not Docetism...

Not Adoptionism. Not Modalism. Not Docetism. Not Dynamic Monarchianism. Not Marcionism. Not Unitarianism. Not Binitarianism. Yawn. Not Arianism. Not Sabellianism .. There are probably more. Some are close to how I currently see it, but always tilt off at some point. But, I have not been able to find : God created a human, and got inside him at baptism,   [left him in the Garden/Calvary, Resurrected him, ascended him up, and came back in licks of fire at Pentecost, shown as a light to Paul..] I'm not sure what that is called. I'll try to find the box they would put me in. Pause for now... This is what I believe... comma, T.H.Tatman GodComma.com ...

When Did God Enter Jesus?

When did God enter Jesus? I'm going to study this more.. but for now add some pieces : Luke 2:40 "And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. " Luke 3:21 "Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." If the Greek in checked, the Scripture does not say : "You are my beloved Son WHO I'm pleased with." It says UPON and then IN.  So, just this one example seems to imply that SpiritGod entered Jesus the human at the time of Jesus' immersion in the River Jordan.  pause ... So the one God, who is Spirit (for lack of a better word) entered the human homo sapien mammal named Yeshua, or God of Salvation. Was God not in Jesus before that? This is wher...

Jesus First Public Miracle : Cana

There are four possible locations for the town of Cana according to archeologists.  There is one Scripture in the Hebrew Testament that is very interesting. Cana is mentioned once. It is: "Kanah (קנה) is the name of a stream between the territories of Ephraim and Manasseh (Joshua 16:8) and of a town of Asher near Sidon" (Joshua 19:28). Ephraim and Manasseh are the two sons of Joseph of Egypt fame. Joseph is an amazing type of Jesus Christ. So this stream comes from between Ephraim and Manasseh. So just looking at the name as a 'type', Jesus and his first five disciples have been asked to come to a marriage in Cana.  A marriage. https://www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Cana.html Ephraim: Summary  Meaning     Two-fold Increase, Doubly Fruitful     Exhausted, Ashes Manasseh: Summary  Meaning     Forgetting, Evaporating Cana : meaning Reed : is also the home of Nathanael who Jesus found under the fig tree (J...

Did God Become A Man, or Create A Man

This is an interesting question : Did God become a man called Jesus of Nazareth Or.. Did God create a man called Jesus of Nazareth? Right up front, this question is not blasphemy. And whatever answer I come up with won't be blasphemy either. Psalm 8:1 "O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens." Point 1 : There is only one LORD. That means one God. That means one "throne". That means the Psalm is talking about Elohim .. Jehovah .. Jesus Christ ..  Psalm 8:4 "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" Good question. What is man? What is a homo sapien mammal? Or as evolutionist scientists like to call as "modern humans".  Cool. You'll get a kick out of this : "They are great apes characterized by their hairlessness, bipedalism, and high intelligence. Humans have large brains, enabling more advanced cognitive skills that enable them...

Apostolic Fathers : Apostolic Faith

Apostolic Fathers : Apostolic Faith. We here these used often. Who are the apostolic fathers? They are NOT the fathers that are often spoke about that came around hundreds of years later. Even wiki calls these 'later fathers' apostolic. "The Apostolic Fathers were Christian theologians who lived in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, who are believed to have personally known some of the Twelve Apostles, or to have been significantly influenced by them."  That is kind of like calling me a George Washington father.  Anyway.. "No, the writings of the Apostolic Fathers are not part of the Bible, but they are considered valuable Christian literature. The Apostolic Fathers were early Christian leaders who wrote letters and documents in Greek to other believers." GoogleAI "No, the term "Apostolic Fathers" is not used in the Bible, but it is used to describe a group of early Christian leaders and authors. The term originated in the 17th century." Googl...

Why Does God Heal?

So, why does God heal?  Well, to show He is a healer, duh. Or is it? Nothing will need healing in the Kingdom. So knowing He can heal has no value There. If I stopped there, I'd probably be stoned with old computers.  Think,  God's whole purpose since Adam was to show that God exists and that God is the only God = 1. Yes, 1 = 1.  Now that 1 might get inside something we can see,  but God is still 1. See, God is not a he or she. We say "He" just because we have bad languages. But God is God and God is 1.  Genesis 1:1 tells us that the one God uses the name Elohim. Later JHVH. Later, many other names, titles. ... Just 1 God though. 1. Uno.  NOT three in one : God never once says that. Never. Nyet. Now back to healing. I'm glad God heals. Mainly is because it helps me to believe that God exists and that God is 1. Example : World War II. It was hell.  Brief in God was highly questioned. What a mess. Weapons, atomics, inventions.. humans make big cool ...

Romans 1 What I Currently Understand

This may take awhile.. I'm just going to do a read through Romans 1 and see what sparks with me or what my mere brain thinks. :: Romans 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, Small humble least little,/ a slave/ of Salvation/ Anoint Rub Smear Messiah,/ chosen/ to be/ messenger,/ separate banished/ to/ good news/ God diety. It is interesting at God's wisdom to give Saul a Roman name that will be very useful later. Saul is a Hebrew name.  And secondly, the name speaks clearly of how God wants Paul to think about himself. Paul means small, humble, least, and little.  Paul realizes he is a servant, a name meaning slave.  The name Jesus, is actually Yeshua. It's meaning is God of Salvation. Thus, the word became flesh can mean the word became salvation. Out of God came salvation and we call that a son. Christ is anoint.. a human body.. and rub, smear, and commonly said, Messiah. Since Spirit God can't be anointed, God ...
