What Really Is The Gospel?

The Gospel. We hear this phrase used all the time.  It means Good News. So what exactly is the good news? Peter said it in Acts 2 just after "Christ in you the hope of glory" happened in his life. This was all new. Elohim was now entering into "sinful" humans. How in the world did this happen.  This is the template of Christianity. What happened with Peter and the others in the UpperRoom and what Peter then spoke were two hands coming together.  You can't have one without the other.. if there is to be a Template. It is tempting to just preach post-Peter or two just agree with Peter, but still not have Peter's experience. Jesus gave Peter the key. The key was presented at Pentecost when Peter spoke. KEYS: Mat 16:17 ¶ And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not REVEALED it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock [REVELA...

Did Jesus Stand On God's Hand?

Did Jesus Stand On God's Hand?  Did Jesus Sit On God's Hand?  How Many Thrones Are In Heaven?  In the Gentile Testament the word "on" is ἐκ. This is how ἐκ is used: KJV Translation Count — Total: used 921 times The KJV translates Strong's G1537 in the following manner: of (366x), from (181x), out of (162x), by (55x), on (34x), with (25x), miscellaneous (98x). So out of 921 times, the translators of the KJV make ἐκ mean "on" 34 times. 3.69% Why?  The other words are all very closely related : of, from, out of, by, with.. The word "on" seems to not really fit in with the others. The translators were trinitarian so maybe that influenced. Here are some key Scriptures that are 'on'eys : Mat 22:44 - The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou ON G1537 my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool Luk 22:69 - Hereafter shall the Son of man sit ON G1537 the right hand of the power of God. Act 2:25 - For David speaketh concerning him, I fore...

Short and Sweet

Never follow the person that got you to Christ, But follow the Christ that the person got you to.  or : "Follow Christ,.. not the one that led you to Him.  Then together you can both Follow Christ." This is what I believe.. comma, T.H.Tatman GodComma.com .

Did Matthew Forget This?

This is short and sweet, or sour, depending on how one thinks. I had never thought this until today when thinking about "Christ in you the hope of glory". Matthew : "Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen ." There is no mention of receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Did Matthew forget to add this? Or did Jesus forget to say this? After all this is KEY to the New Testament 'Church' and the New Testament.  What did they say on the day of Pentecost : Act 2:38 " Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Ho...

Follow Me As I Follow Christ

We all can see Scriptures in the way we are guided by God. There are key moments in time though that certain ordained individuals are revealed something from God - from Scriptures - and they bring that to us. For instance Martin Luther had justification revealed to him. It was the right time, the right season, and it spread.  The people did not necessarily follow Martin Luther's personal revelation, but he represented the 'Light' that God was giving the world. It was the season for the restoration of justification and it spread with or without Martin Luther.  Christians follow God, not men.  Now many might see it different. That's OK.  Here is the Scripture : 1 Corinthians 11:1 " Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. " And another similarly used : Luke 10:16 " He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. " Now I often hear that we are to follow Paul.  That c...

Christianity Has A Problem

All christiandom talks about Israel meeting Jesus as the Messiah. Problem is .. Israel needs a template. And most Christian systems believe in the trinity - a concept the Jews will never believe. The Jews had 4000 years - before Jesus - for God to teach them He is a trinity. But guess what? God didn't. It's just not there in their Hebrew Bible, or the Torah, or the Prophets, or John the Baptist, or... God didn't lie or trick or deceive or hide anything from Israel when it came to understanding Elohim of Genesis 1:1, or JHVH, or Adonai .. all different 'names' for the same one and only God. God definitely didn't punish them because they were ignorant that Constantine's trinity was actually the truth. Silly.. The closest template Israel has to true Christianity is the days of Jesus and Pentecost. Everyone in the upper room understood Elohim as One. Then they suddenly learned that Elohim was now inside 120 people. However, the Jews of 2025 don't understand...

Religion and Politics

Outside a deli I once saw a man who had cut his arm on purpose. I went outside and he was bleeding very badly. The odd thing was that his blood looked like watered down red cranberry juice. It was very transparent on the ground.  How amazing that the human body is built in such a way by God that even when the life blood has been alcohol'd into such diluted uselessness, that the human body still somehow continues to function. This left me amazed at how well God created us humans. We humans have so mangled our air, water, food, soil.. that it truly is a miracle that we last to 70 years old. Wonder what the original Adam was like? That original body must have been amazing. No wonder God allowed it to live 930 years before Adam's body died. Genesis 5:5 "And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died." Religion and Politics. Or mainly, true Christianity and politics. Are they snuggle bunnies?  Well...  What I think I'm pondering is how...

Basics I Keep Myself Focused On

I have certain basics I try to keep in my mind. These basics are like 'word' 'templates' that keep me properly focused Biblically. This helps when I read the Bible or read or hear from other speakers and writers. It is so easy for my brain to revert back to basic cliche words, or statements, or interpretations. So my first basic is Genesis 1:1 .. Elohim . Any other word or name for God must first have this as the template. Definition : We cannot grasp Elohim. He had no beginning. He is not human. He is beyond our ability to define. The Jews are correct on this. The Jews are 100% correct on how they describe "GOD". Next is John 1:1 .. Word . In my head I keep the phrase "Word made flesh" John1:14 .. which is Lord Jesus Christ .. which is Elohim inside a human. So anytime I see or hear the phrase "Obey the Word" I avoid the legal 'works' side and focus on Elohim in flesh as my template. The Gospel . Gospel is the "good news"...

Did Jesus See Judas First?

Had an interesting ponder today. I heard some people reading a church creed that said in part that after Jesus resurrected, he first saw a woman, then Peter, then the 12 Disciples... oops.  That should be eleven disciples - since Judas was dead from suicide. Then I thought, wait, Judas went to the regions of the lost and Jesus went to preach to the those that  booboo'd in their day .. so did Jesus see Judas, have a discussion, then in Paradise Jesus saw the thief on the cross .. or vice versa .. or versa vice .. As Jesus was dying on the cross : Luke 23:43 "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise ." After Jesus died on the cross : 1 Peter 3:18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, ... being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison ; 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noa...

Communion : Death?

More of me researching : Mat 26:27 ¶ And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Luk 22:19  (beginning of meal) And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me . Then after supper, (end of meal), He did the cup : Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper , saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you . 1 Corinthians 11:26 "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come." Hmm.. Why his death and not his resurrection? Matthew and Luke say : Drink all wine from the cup. It is my blood of/in the new testament. To show Lord's death. And it is shed for many for the remission of sins. GodBlood. Body: He "brake" the bread. κλάω Traditionally...
